We continued with our Mother's Day writing.
Maths
We continued to explore halves, focusing on halving a shape into two equal pieces.
We also completed an arithmetic using the manipulatives.

We role played the Widow's Mite where Jesus was extremely happy with an old widow for giving her small fortune to the temple.

We had an amazing Freddy Fit session!
Science
We made paper aeroplanes for British Science Week.
History
We wrote facts about another nurse from the 1800s - Edith Cavell. We compared her to Florence.

We recognised how we have close family who live with us, and extended family who we are related to but we do not live with.
Art
We painted roses for our Mother's Day cards. We then drew spirals on top with pen.

We sorted food into fruit and vegetables. We found that fruit have seeds in them!
Japanese lesson
Yuichi and his students taught us about Japanese dolls. We made our own dolls using paper cups.
