English

We continued to learn through the story 'The Robin Who Stole Christmas'. This week, we replied to Rotten Robin in role of Father Christmas. We made sure to thank him for fixing his rotten actions and to tell him that he is now on the good list!

Phonics

Some of us continued to learn the phase 3 digraphs.

Some of us learnt a_e in cake and o_e in stone.

Some of us started to learn the alternative pronunciations of 'i' (igh) and 'o' (oa).

Maths

We recapped the place value of the teen numbers.

R.E.

We continued to read the Nativity story, focusing on Angel Gabriel's message to the shepherds. We wrote Gabriel's message in a speech bubble. We also made Nativity art.

See our pictures here.

In our 'Celebration of the Word' we talked about Jesus' miracles.

P.E.

We recapped the whole group section of our dance, then started to make the small group section in groups of four.

P.S.H.E.

We celebrated our differences and talked about how it is good to be unique!

History

We shared the toys that our parents used to play with when they were little. We then used Seesaw to choose which toys we would like to play with if we had the chance to.

D.T.

We painted the background of our Christmas card using a printing technique.

See our pictures here.

Art

We started to make our Christmas crafts.
