 Phonics

 This week we have been learning the new sounds; o, c and k.

Drawing Club

In Drawing Club, we have continued to listen to different versions of the Jack and the Beanstalk.

We have thought of new treasure for the giant to have in his castle.

Maths

This week we have continued to build number land.

We have been looking at and discussing the number 4.

RE

This week we have been learning about Diwali and the Festival of Light.

We have been designing our own Mehndi and Rangoli patterns.

Understanding the World

This week we have been testing our sense of smell. We had items hidden in cups. We had to guess what it was without seeing it. Some of it was really smelly.

Expressive Art and Design

This week we have been decorating pumpkins. We had to mix our own orange and used our knowledge of the primary colours from last week!

We have had a brilliant session of Yoga with Hannah this week. It was spooky yoga.
