We discussed that being different makes us special.

We then drew our favourite things for our class book.

We have read ‘Owl Babies’.

This week we focused on the characters in the story and thought about where the owls lived.

We created our own owl babies, and we drew what we thought their house might look like inside the hole in the tree.

‘The Three Little Pigs’

This week we created a story map and used it to help us retell the story.

We had a go at being the teacher, reading the story out loud to our friends using the story map.

Art

We have continued to investigate colour mixing, using pipettes and coloured water.

Understanding the World

We learnt the names of the different items in our Autumn Tray.

We have been sorting our Autumn treasures in lots of different ways,

This week we played a class game of hide and seek in the forest.

The children loved it.
