Phonics
Mrs Robinson's group have been revisiting the ai and ee sounds.
Mrs Dixon's group have been focussing on the oi and ear sounds.
Drawing Club
In Drawing Club we read the story, The Smeds and the Smoos.
We have drew the planet where they live and described it.
Maths
We have started to learn numbers beyond 10. This week it was the numbers 11,12 and 13.
RE
We listened to the story of Pentecost again and described how the disciples felt when the Holy Spirit came. Then we talked about the fire and made our own fire hats.
Expressive Art and Design
We continued with our Art project on Imagination lands.
Our task this week was to add the drawings to them! They all look fantastic.
Understanding the World
This week we explored how rockets work and we prepared our rocket mice, ready to launch them next week.
Forest School
In our session this week we did some cloud gazing on blankets using our senses to really experience being outside.
We also used different shades of green ribbon and tried to find something growing in the nature area which really matched our piece of ribbon.
