Welcome to Reception's Friday Blog!

What a great first week back we have had!

Drawing Club

In Drawing Club, we have been listening to the story; ‘What’s in the Witch's Kitchen?’

We have been drawing our own witch and thinking of things which could be in her kitchen.

Maths

This week we have been exploring the number 5.

See the photos here.

RE

This week we have been recapping the Bible and what it is for.

Then we began to talk about mothers and how important they are.

Understanding the World

This week we have been understanding the meaning of Remembrance Day.
We have made our own poppy, to show a symbol of peace.

See the photos here.

Expressive Art and Design

This week we have been making our own firework pictures.

PE

We have been practising skipping and making our own dances to the music of Toy Story.

Outdoor Learning Day

This week we had an outdoor learning day and planted poppy seeds.

We can't wait to watch them grow!
