Hello and welcome to the Reception Friday Blog!

All the children had an amazing first week at school!

We are amazed at how quickly they have settled into our routines, exploring their new classroom, making new friends and joining in with our prayers.

We drew self portraits and decorated our names for our classroom door.

We had buddy play with Year 6, we will be paired up with our own buddy next week.

We have been to explore the Forest School areas with Mrs Corbett. She read us a story in the lodge. It was called 'The Leaf Thief'.We will have Forest School every Thursday.

Lunchtimes are a big hit, with many empty plates.

At the end of Friday, we asked the children if they would come back next week and they all said yes, excitedly.
