Welcome to Reception's Friday Blog!

 Phonics

 Mrs Robinson's group have been revisiting the igh, long oo and short oo sounds.

Mrs Dixon's group have been focussing on the er and air sounds.

Drawing Club

In Drawing Club, we read the story, Snail and the Whale.

We have been drawing pictures of an underwater cave and writing about it.

Maths

We have continued to count to 20.
We have been measuring lots of items and using the correct vocabulary to describe them.

RE

We celebrated the story of Pentecost and discussed all of our learning from this half term.

Expressive Art and Design

 We have been painting our favourite things that we have learnt in reception.

PE

What a fantastic sports day we had! A big thank you to everyone who came and watched.

We have also taken part in a whole school cricket day, which was fantastic! See the photos here!
