Writing

This week we had a go at writing a simple sentence independently.

RE

This week we learned that Jesus came for everyone, all around the world and we learned a new song to show what we learnt.

Maths

In Maths this week we have been learning about and making repeating patterns.

 Understanding the World – Science

This week we investigated jungle and rainforest habitats and discovered the different areas in which animals live such as the canopy or the jungle floor.  We discussed what a habitat is and how they can be different for different animals.  We sang our Seasons Song and watched a video all about the season of Summer.  We then split into groups and created a poster showing our understanding of Summer.

Expressive Art and Design

In Art this week we added our animals to our watery world backdrops which we created last week. 

PE

In PE we focussed again, on our fundament skills of throwing and catching, running, hopping and skipping.

PSHE

During our PSHE session this week, we revisited keeping hands kind and looking after our friends.
