Welcome to Reception's Friday Blog!

 Phonics

 This week we learnt  the new sounds; r, h and b.

Drwing Club

In Drawing Club, we listened to the story; ‘Coming to England.’ It is all about Floella’s long journey to England on a boat. We have planned what we would pack in our suitcases if we took a long journey.

Maths

This week we explored the number 6.

RE

We spoke about our mothers again and how important they are.

We then learnt about Jesus’ Mother, Mary.

Understanding the World

This week we used google maps to explore and talk about where we live (United Kingdom). We had a look for the Spar and Booths.

PE

We had a great session with Freddy Fit this week, doing lots of fitness exercises and talking about healthy eating.
