 Phonics

 Mrs Robinson's group have been revisiting tricky words and using them in sentences.

Mrs Dixon's group have been learning CVCC words.

Drawing Club

In Drawing Club, we have been watching clips of polar bears in their habitats.

We have written about what the animals were doing in their caves and how they hunted for their food.

Maths

We have been exploring 2D and 3D shapes this week, making pictures and statues from them.

RE

We have been listening to stories about Jesus’ friends; St Peter and St Paul.

We learnt about what St Peter and St Paul were good at and played follow the leader.

Expressive Art and Design

 We have been listening to scientists talk about how they find out information about dinosaurs.

We saw them excavating a dinosaur site and finding the fossils. We then made our own dinosaur fossil pictures. See the photos here.

Understanding the World

We have been planning our trip to Blackpool Zoo using maps. We have been using the map to find different parts of the zoo, including trees, water, different animals and the toilets! See the pictures here.

We have also been finding facts out about different under the sea animals.

PE

We began our games unit. This week we have been working in teams to race against another.
